“Winter Wonderland” was originally written by Felix Bernard and Richard B. Smith in 1934 and has become a timeless holiday classic, performed by numerous artists over the years. I love bringing my own twist to this Christmas song by playing it with a samba groove in a chilled lounge jazz vibe.
For the 2019 Christmas season, I plan to remix this track with a jazz trio vibe, adding vocals and introducing a more soulful and funky groove.
In this One Man Band performance, I’m playing an American Elite Stratocaster HSS Shawbucker Electric Guitar with a Boss ME-80 guitar multi-effects pedal, running through a Boss RC-30 Loop Pedal and a Fishman Solo Performance System SA220 PA.
