🎶 Silver Bells – Walt Pitts | Jazz Mandolin One Man Band Christmas Instrumental

I always enjoy playing “Silver Bells”, a beloved Christmas song composed by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans, on the mandolin. The unique sound of the mandolin often reminds me of bells, making it the perfect instrument for this holiday classic.
In the 2019 Christmas season, I’ll be performing a jazz trio version of “Silver Bells”, which will feature both vocals and more of a traditional jazz vibe. I’m still undecided whether I’ll play the mandolin or guitar, or perhaps even both – stay tuned for that!
For this One Man Band performance, I’m playing a Michael Kelly Acoustic-Electric Legacy Dragonfly Flame Mandolin, paired with a Boss ME-80 guitar multi-effects pedal, running through a Boss RC-30 Loop Pedal and a Fishman Solo Performance System SA220 PA.
