In this video, I’m playing my stripped-down funky solo version of the Rolling Stones classic “You Can’t Always Get What You Want”, written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. This song is such a blast to play, and I could literally perform it all day and into the night. I’ve added my own twist, stripping it down to solo guitar and vocals, while keeping that funky groove alive!
This live music performance was recorded at the Desert Mountain Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, at the Cochise / Geronimo Clubhouse restaurant on August 3, 2019. I’ve been performing for the Desert Mountain community since 2002, and it’s always a pleasure to entertain such a great crowd.

I used the loop feature in the VE-8 to create a loop of the verse and chorus chord changes, giving me a foundation to solo over.
