In this video, I’m performing “Margaritaville”, a song written and performed by Jimmy Buffett, on my mandolin. It’s always a fun tune to play, and I love bringing my unique spin to it while keeping the laid-back vibe that defines the original.
This live music performance was recorded at the Desert Mountain Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, at the Cochise / Geronimo Clubhouse restaurant on August 3, 2019. I’ve been performing regularly for the Desert Mountain community since 2002, and it’s always an amazing place to play and entertain.

I used the loop feature in the VE-8 to create a loop of the verse and chorus chord changes, giving me a foundation to solo over.
