Get this song and listen to others from my album Keppin’ It Real In Lo-Fi at ➜ waltpitts.hearnow.com/keepin-it-real-in-lo-fi – Here’s my smooth jazz version of “Layla,” written by Eric Clapton and Jim Gordon, performed by Derek and the Dominos. I played a Taylor T5 Hybrid Electric Acoustic Guitar and used a Boss ME-25 guitar effects processor to create the sounds on this live recording.
The backing tracks were created with Band-in-a-Box 2012 using RealTracks. My blues rock and slide guitar style has been influenced by Clapton and Carlos Santana.
This video shows that actual live take of the song that appears on my album, “Keepin’ It Real in Lo-Fi.” You can hear more songs and purchase them here ➜ waltpitts.hearnow.com/keepin-it-real-in-lo-fi
