Here’s my version of “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen”, played in a chill reggae style, and it’s become one of my favorite instrumental Christmas tunes to play. While I typically perform this song on guitar, I occasionally switch it up and play it on mandolin for a fresh take.

This is a holiday favorite that I’ve been playing instrumentally for years, but my plan for the 2019 Christmas season is to add vocals and share a new rendition with you soon.

For this One Man Band performance, I’m playing a RainSong Black Ice Series BI-WS1000N2 Graphite Carbon Fiber Acoustic-Electric Guitar with a Boss ME-80 guitar multi-effects pedal, running through a Boss RC-30 Loop Pedal and a Fishman Solo Performance System SA220 PA.
