I always love playing Christmas Time Is Here from A Charlie Brown Christmas written by Lee Mendelson and Vince Guaraldi.

I’ll be remixing this for next Christmas 2019 and will perform it more as a jazz trio feel and get closer to Vince Guaraldi’s version and will sing it as well.

When I play this song, it makes me feel a bit melancholy and drives me to reach for a bit of a blues vibe within it, but there are quite a few twists and turns in the chord progression that really challenges and stretch my playing.

In this One Man Band performance, I’m playing a RainSong Black Ice Series BI-WS1000N2 Graphite Carbon Fiber Acoustic-Electric Guitar with a Boss Me-80 guitar multi-effects pedal which goes to a Boss RC-30 Loop Pedal and finally through a Fishman Solo Performance System SA220 PA.
