🎶 Desert Mountain Revisited – Walt Pitts Original (Fingerstyle Guitar & Mandolin Ambient Performance)

Here’s “Desert Mountain Revisited,” a remake of an original song that first appeared on my album “WALT PITTS @HOME.” This version brings the piece to life with a new ambient fingerstyle guitar arrangement and some mandolin touches, blending jazz, blues, and folk influences.

For this performance, I used a Maton Guitar and a Michael Kelly Dragonfly Custom Mandolin with Fishman pickups, along with a Boss RC-30 Loop Station to create a layered sound. Tommy Emmanuel, David Grisman, Chet Atkins, Pat Metheny, and Joe Pass have all had a big influence on my playing style, and I hope you can hear those influences in this track.
