“Loopy for Grace” – muted palm picking guitar song, Walt Pitts

Get this song and listen to others from my new album at CD Baby – This instrumental is a tribute to my granddaughter, Grace, who was born in the summer of 2012. “Loopy” has two meanings here. One, I am loopy in love with my beautiful grandchild. And two, it’s a reference to the Boss RC-30 Loop Station that I use on the track 🙂

FYI, this song was influenced by the bebop tune “Blues for Alice” by Charlie Parker. I played a Maton Guitar and used a muted palm picking fingerstyle playing technique.

This video shows that actual live take of the song that appears on my album, “Keepin’ It Real in Lo-Fi.” You can hear more songs and purchase them here CD Baby.
